Looking for a Great Deal on Solar in Perth

Chasing a really good deal on a solar system for my 4x2 house. Don't want cheap arsed stuff that will break in 5 years and company will have gone out of business. So decent inverter and panels installed by a reputable company.

Got Sunpower panels and an SMA inverter from Solargain. Will Parker was excellent.

  • Heard good things about infinite (pretty sure that's the one)

  • I got mine installed by Perth Solar Warehouse in December so far very happy with it. I have a pool so it was a worthwhile investment. One thing that I have changed to further get benefit is that I now use dishwasher during the day you will be surprised how much a electricity dishwasher uses. At night time I put only on prewash for 15 minutes and rest in the morning.

For the inverter get the European model Fronius.

  • Find companies in your area and check reviews on solarquotes

  • Check insurance for:

    • Company

    • Non-employee installer

    • Your public liability if installer has accident

    • Cover for broken tiles - Friend who was going to get solar electricity installed was told that because she had concrete tiles they would expect to break at least 20. Not covered by installer or her insurance. Tile profile no longer available. She decided not to proceed.

Make sure they do on roof measure up before signing up. Friend didn't get this done. When non-employee installer arrived he said proposed layout not possible. Different, more expensive attachment method required.

Installer was not going to use safety harness. Couldn't / wouldn't provide insurance details.

    She cancelled installation.
