Get a STEAM key for the anticipated game BRINK buy today to secure your copy at a great price!

Brink is an immersive first-person shooter that blends single-player, co-op, and multiplayer gameplay into one seamless experience, allowing you to develop your character whether playing alone, with your friends, or against others online. You decide the combat role you want to assume in the world of Brink as you fight to save yourself and mankind’s last refuge. Brink offers a compelling mix of dynamic battlefields, extensive customization options, and an innovative control system that will keep you coming back for more.

Brink takes place on the Ark, a man-made floating city that is on the brink of all-out civil war. Originally built as an experimental, self-sufficient and 100% “green” habitat, the reported rapid rise of the Earth’s oceans has forced the Ark to become home to not only the original founders and their descendants but also to thousands of refugees. With tensions between the two groups growing, Security and Resistance forces are locked in a heated battle for control of the Ark. Which side will you choose?

Nice price, but I think I'm too scared to get it..

I guess its not likely a particular cd-key will cause your account to be banned.

    • Hi Sam,

If you have concerns don't hesitate to contact us via live chat or through our contact page.

      • +2

You don't own/run steam so I don't see how that will help.

What country is the cd-key from?

        • +1

I think this disclosure is fair enough, which country is the cd key from? I would feel more comfortable purchasing if this information were disclosed here.

        • Our supply for Brink comes from UK as well as the US

Our supply for Brink comes from UK as well as the US

How is this anything but piracy?

        • Wow, do you even know what piracy mean or you are just spouting what you just heard today?

Nice try, sock puppet (registered today, and upvoted by OP).

If the keys come from the US and UK, then they're obviously not meant for sale elsewhere. OK if the keys are cheap because they come from somewhere like Russia, well that's a grey area. But this clearly isn't.

        • I guess you also think importing games from places like zavvi and amazon is also piracy.

        • According to Australian law, if a Technological Protection Measure exists purely to stop people from playing games imported from another country, it’s legal to circumvent that, provided that same technology does not allow you to play pirated games. This was decided in a case involving region-locked consoles. In other words, region-locking is not a copyright measure, it's a market control measure, so breaking it is not piracy. (DISCLAIMER: I am not a lawyer, I'm only interpreting from articles on the web.)

        • Also, @blitz, your argument has given me brainfreeze. It's NOT okay to use keys meant for sale in the US and UK, but it IS okay to use keys meant for sale in Russia? Not sure how that works.

        • I guess you also think importing games from places like zavvi and amazon is also piracy.

Of course not, why would you make such a claim? Games sold through those venues are neither locked to nor intended for a particular region. Further, they are authorised retailers. Using unauthorised retailers is against Valve's (and many others) TOS:

          http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11003…

          Work it out.

        • Also, @blitz, your argument has given me brainfreeze. It's NOT okay to use keys meant for sale in the US and UK, but it IS okay to use keys meant for sale in Russia? Not sure how that works.

"Brainfreeze"? Aha! A Gen Y. Let me clue you in. The most common argument supporting these CD Key shops (which, let's be honest, are about as grey market as you can get) is that they are simply onselling keys that they have legitimately purchased from the OEM. These keys are purchased at a reduced price in order to gain market share in regions with very high piracy rates. Even a few moments research would have shown you this.

Sourcing keys from the US and UK completely eliminates this argument because these regions are not piracy hotbeds.

Still, do what you like, eh? I think game producers should be rewarded for their work. I think people who purchase these CD keys are the pits because they utterly lack the courage of their convictions. If you're going to pirate a game, then man up and pirate it. But don't try and assuage your limp guilt by giving someone some money and then thinking that you have a legit version of the game. Razor1911, Red Sector, aXXo all say the same thing: if you like it, buy it.

        • @blitz, I don't know if 35 qualifies as Gen Y…

I'm perfectly aware why software is so cheap in places like Russia and China, thanks.

I can see why you would think that taking advantage of this special anti-piracy pricing is wrong, and in that respect your argument is certainly valid.

My point was that, if you're going to say that it's either OK or not OK to purchase games from different regions and use them here, you've probably got to make that a blanket statement. Prices are lower in the US than here, and they're lower in Russia than the US, all for the same reason: they think that different countries are willing to pay different amounts for software.

If a publisher is going to charge twice the price for the same bit of software "because they can", it's hard to get worked up about some people being able to pay less "because they can".

It may not be morally 100% in the clear, but it's not piracy.

do we have confirmation that these keys will work in our region?

    • All of our keys work in Australia unless specified.

      • +1

Is there a return policy if this isn't the case? Ive noticed that the price went from approx $50 to $89 US on our steam, and there was debate about whether a US key would work in our region due to the dramatic price differences

        • Kryptik we certainly do offer a return policy. We offer either a full refund or the more popular option is 110% store credit. Our live support team will always help you through this if it does occur.

    Edit: My bad

Buying in USD makes the game cheaper than using their on-site converter.

  • +1

Might wanna add also that the keys are released on the 17th of May, a week after US release and you do not obtain any pre-order bonuses from this purchase. Cheers

    • Confirming this is the case. Sadly to keep our costs down we can only secure second release of stock.

  • +1

So if I can't see it in steam until the 17th of May then why don't you relist it then?

Can't see any reason to buy it at the moment.

Plus it depends on my friends as I'm only buying this for coop.

  • Actually around $33 from dvd.co.uk with a code or after deducted VAT I think. Not very sure.

  • If I get the Witcher is that a Steam key as well?

Actually - the whole website should indicate if they are Steam keys. g2play do this well.

    • We are expecting STEAM keys however we are still waiting on confirmation.

  • +3

    More CD key spam.

    • Agreed. These people need to be stopped from posting here.

    • Why SPAM? I bought a few games from this kind of cdkey sites, no problem.

      Really a bargain.

  • Considering that Brink will be a retail game using steam, it should work fine. Problems would arise if the only way to purchase it was through steam.

Might be questionable however if it was from russia.

  • Hi All. Confirming our Brink Keys are STEAM compatible. We are expecting them to arrive on the 14th however ask that all customers please allow for the 17th.

    • -3

      English?

      • -1

Why neg me? Just want to make sure?

        • I imagine its because he was speaking in perfect English to begin with.

        • ha ha … actually I mean whether the game is in English or Russian.

        • dup

  • BRINK UPDATE: Stock expected to be delayed up to 48 hours after the expected arrival time of the 15th. We are very sorry for this inconvenience.

    • Any update on this front? Website seems to be down.

      • Edit: Site is be back up. The 17th is nearly over though :! Unless that is going on US time.

Err, it seems I hit reply instead of edit. Nothing to see here, move along.

        • Hi,

Please keep an eye on our Facebook page for Brink information.

  • Available yet?

  • Hey mate - please advise if this is av yet ?

  • Looks like the CD keys aren't happening. They are going to be giving out refunds instead of the CD key which will sell at a higher price of $34.50. Their Facebook page is here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Cdkeyscentral/208829509140348?…

The dumbest part of it is that I paid with PayPal so the money will be refunded back there instead of my PayPal account. Their communication has been pretty lousy as well.

  • i'm not happy about this deal either, i was refunded after purchasing, and a new cd key was put on the website at a much higher price, dodgy, wouldn't buy from here again
