    Yes

  • Not really

  • Hmm… which way will this thread go?

Will it balloon to a wider discussion on Gruen? Or will it flip to 'what's the point of this post?'. At the moment it hangs in the balance.

    • Nah i love this show but want to see if there are other fans of this show as well

Interesting show. Good to see the contrasting styles of the various panel members and some of the pitches have been hilarious, particularly the one to get people to take on cane toads as pets.

  • Yeah it's not too bad!

I don't like the Todd Sampson ego project parts, which are most of it.

Yeah I kind of agree, he is kind of egotistical compared to Russel Howcroft who is really knowledgeable about marketing strategies since he is like on the top of pwc or something

      • Russel annoys me so much, can they get a new panel member to replace him?
I know they are playing off the fake conflict between him and Todd but I roll my eyes everytime he has to talk.
I feel like his opinions aren't really based on anything material

Can't stand Will Anderson - his jokes are so projected and he's not funny. Successful in spite of his talent. I find the area really interesting but can't watch because he annoys me too much.

  • Great show.

Side note: bring back dirty laundry!

  • I enjoy the show and format. Anderson and his puns are annoying. Favourite part is when two agencies create a TV commercial for something absurd. Samson and Howcroft are just bareable in measured doses but when they let loose it becomes too much.

I also enjoy when they explore an actual campaign and how it was successful or a failure. Especially niche innovative ideas that proved overly successful. Also, big budget traditional advertising that backfired or didn’t go the way they wanted it.
