Bit of an interesting find here… Was looking through Optus SFAs and found the below plans:

The My Plan Plus 12M SIM (Special Promo) plans are available for only to selected customers who have been invited by Optus and sign up to a new Optus service. The $25 My Plan Plus 12M (Special Promo) plan is available in Telesales only. All other My Plan Plus 12M SIM (Special Promo) plans are available via Online (includes Webchat), Retail and Telesales. Existing customers cannot recontract, trade up or rate plan change onto this plan.

    I got the $25/m plan when I ported from Virgin Mobile last year, it's called $25 My Plan Plus 12M SIM(May 18 Special)

    Contacted sales chat and they confirmed it's just the Virgin Mobile changeover plans. Strictly only for Virgin Mobile customers transferring over. Apparently it is still available though.

    Plans are still active. Transferred to $25 My Plan Plus 12M SIM (Special) 800903, 20241039 30 May 2018 from virgin mobile today.

    its crap you can get the regular byo sim only plan and get more data and unlimited roaming on the $50 plan
