and so is Air New Zealand By the way….

    • whats happening with Air New Zealand?

      • Same sale price… which if u can get jetstar to price beat guarantee, you'll be ten percent better of… that is if u prefer jetstar than airnz tho…

  • Damn was hoping they had Japan airfares on sale… I'm hanging out trying to book cheap flights to Tokyo for next January. Anyone think they will come up on jetstar again this year?

    • they often have japan deals :P hopefully the whole disaster thing is fixed by then?

      • That's good to know. I can get $1000 return to Tokyo from cairns but will wait to see if it gets any better. No problems where I will be traveling.

  • there 7th birthday sale starts in a few days…..

  • i am so mad!!! i was so happy i bought sydney - auckland return last month for $260 during sales. I thought it is ridiculous cheap! but now, another sales is here, and its only freaking $200 for return on the exact same travelling dates I booked earlier. This is so unfair… arghh!! @.@

  • I cannot see any similar fares on the Air NZ website. Can eutama please verify where these cheap fares are to be found?

    • Verified… Melbourne - Auckland 18 - 21 August 2011.
Jetstar = $175.24 Return on Jetstar Light
AirNZ = $174.95 Return on Seat only

  • I got Auckland return $181 including taxes at their last sale-for November.:)
    No other airline came close.

trick for buying flights return to NZ… buy the Aus to NZ on the .COM.AU website, but buy the NZ to Aus on the .CO.NZ website. In my experience you can save about 10% on the NZ to Aus flight (ie, after convert the quoted NZD to AUD, it will be 10% cheaper than the price on the .au website).

  • NZ is nice, but it's better for old people. Good price though

    • Disagree with this… It's a beautiful place and has great party areas and adventure activities. Queenstown is hardly targeted to old people.
