2 Spicy Chicken Pounders and 16 McNuggets or 6 Chicken Pounder Burgers for $9.70 @ McDonald's (Via App/Kiosk)

1136

Use the Mcdonald's app and use the kiosk to order 2 quarter pounders for $2 but customise your burgar and remove the meat for a $2.25 deduction. (You either have access to 2 apps or load your app code in one kiosk without going through with the purchase and refresh the code and load up a 2nd kiosk with another then go through with both purchase).

With one of the kiosk add the 24 spicy McNuggets for $9.95 and this kiosk will come out as $9.70.

Each meatless quarter pounder fits 4 nuggets perfectly making a spicy chicken pounder. This leaves 16 nuggets left so each person can have a burgar and 8 nuggets which is a good portion meal.

If you have a group of coworkers or friends, can do 6 burgers for $9.70 which is $1.60 a burger, cheaper than the deal.

i'm not sure if i'm into this new ozbargin meta of mcdonalds no meat menu hacks to save a few cents.

    • +6

Yeah maybe get a forum topic for hacks.

    • +10

Can't agree more. These 'deals' are great but the are more into life hacks and should be moved to forums in my opinion.

    • Agreed, they always seem too much effort than it's worth. Especially when you end up with a meatless burger.

  • +28

Each meatless quarter pounder fits 4 nuggets perfectly

Can we get a MS Paint diagram of this please?

    • -2

      This.

      • yeah do you have to have 4 L shapped nuggets or are we talking the round shaped nuggets?

I would imagine you would need to interweave the 4 L shaped nuggets. Have you taken into account the chances you'll have enough L shaped nuggets to create a burger? I think the spicy nuggets are also a little bit smaller on average so you might actually be able to just use the round ones anyway.

        Please post diagrams

No such thing as a spicy chicken pounder- desperation to make a post out of nothing here. Just sad.

      Have a hamberder, Don

Although these hacks are clever, they're not real deals as they require a lot of farting around to get something that isn't a proper menu item. Agree with moving stuff like this to the forums.

    • +4

Not alot of effort, just use the kiosk. 2minutes max.

Using shopback or cashrewards take more effort from logging in and going through their portal to remembering to cashout months later.

Plus if your time is not worth the savings then its not worth it for you. But its a deal for others like if a group of 6 people starving and only had $10. This is really good to help them out and will be a deal for them.

So if a deal is not useful for you then neg? Go neg all the mobile phone/flights deals that you didn't buy.

      • -1

group of 6 starving people with $10 ? You do realise this is Australia not Africa

        • -1

Then 6 hungry people with only a collective of $10 in change and no bank card. Thats not the point. Why isnt it a deal cos mrdevil doesnt use it.

          • -6

            @Bryanalves: sounds a lot like an old poem;

6 hungry africans, poor cold and sad.
10 ZARS, an app and a phone. 24 nuggets or 6 Mcnuggets burgers, no more hungry africans sitting on the floor.

Have you already heard about a $0.75 non-meat sundae pounder?

  • Or you could've gotten free chicken strips from Oporto and put that in the burger.

  • Don't forget to buy a cone and dump the ice cream into something and whip out your topping the only concern for a cheap sunday :)

Potential for hits because of key word McDonalds lol .

  • Joke post. This doesn't belong on OzB.
Not a comporable product to the actual Spicy McChicken, also a silly amount of work involved.
