Both are worth playing.
@Some Human: I think I liked the first one more until the recent update to Overcooked 2. I think it was the difficulty curve of the first one was more linear and number 2 felt too easy. The new 4 star mode is love the most. Both however are great for yelling and screaming at your teammates though. :P
Overcooked 2 is considerably harder so it's good to start with the first.
@King Steuart: Not sure who -ve you but definitely agree. Completing overcooked 3 star had some troublesome stages, but definitely struggling to 4 star in overcooked 2.

From what people I know have told me, get Overcooked 1 first.
The games are basically the same. Overcooked 2 is more of the same, but with an extra mechanic thrown into the mix (being able to throw stuff) which means it might be a bit annoying getting used to it in 2, and then not being able to do it in 1.
Get Overcooked 1, if you love it and finish it and want more - then get Overcooked 2, which by then it might be even cheaper.

Much as I love this game, controls feels so choppy after playing it on Xbox. Could just me be though
It was like that not long after launch for me, but it seems somewhere along the line it was patched, and feels similar to the PC version for me now.
I cant seem to play with anything other than an xbox controller.

we bought overcooked 2 and finished the game getting all 3 stars already. is this worth to buy/play?
Yes #2 was way easier to 3 star than #1 in my opinion.

Yes, if your relationship is sturdy enough to withstand a substantive amount of yelling.
