    Does it have some kind of gambling lootbox mechanic just to get upgrade parts? I seem to remeember something like that, not sure if it was ever redressed?

      You get "speed cards" when you win races, which reveal various performance parts. Similar to star cards from star wars battlefront.

  I bought it, for the $10 I think it's great! Should be called "need for Forza horizon" though, because that's basically how it feels playing this one (drive to various race events), but with a bit of a cop and robbers back story. Looks great on Xbox One X.
