    What the hell are you talking about? I've been using it on 3 phones since more than 6 months. Occasional low bars as it's not telstra-retail but telstra-corporate, but it's been great.

      Dude I activated it and it had internet but could not make or receive calls that's what I'm talking about and when I tried to contact them for 2 weeks I kept getting generic emails to do the same things over.

        I think it's a combination of your sim and phone. Just order a replacement online. Also it could be cell coverage at a certain spot where u spend most time, that could be worth reporting to them. Their support for alright if you acknowledge it's a low cost service and high quality support cost companies money. Personally, i'm happy having to jump a few hoops for support once in a while if i can get enough data and unlimited calls on telstra-corp network for almost next to nothing.

        I can confirm that it's not as bad as you've experienced, so take it from there and find out what went wrong for you.

      Funny when I put any other sim it worked. My problem was never addressed by them. They don't have customer service. I'm just saying my experiences with them.

        Yeah, could have been any of several technical issues, like a bad SIM. It's not like all SIMs are made 100% perfect all the time.

        But I'm surprised they didn't just send you a replacement. It's the industry equivalent of "Having PC problems? Reboot it"

        You used to be able to pay separately for data and phone calls, so that might be what you did (chose the data only option).

    I had decent support when there was a problem. It is email, not voice, which I prefer.
    You can't expect the same service as Telstra postpaid for this price though.

  Listen up there customer service is the worst . They only have a telephone number for there internet side.
  Generic email responses you have been warned stay away from belong (telstras money scheme)

  my $40 starter kit gave me $80 credit to use. with the additional $20 referral credit, after the first month, i still have $60 to use.
  This will give me 6 months with 36GB to use.

      You get your data as soon as you activate, and then you get the data again within 1 to 4 days (depending on date of month). Effectively u get double the data on your first month.

  Better yet, start on the $40 plan, bank 30GB, then switch to $10 plan.
  Don't forget the extra $20 referral credit.

    or without a referral, they would bill the difference. It is not a "prepaid" account.
