I was thinking of purchasing the Dell G3 3579 listed here https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Dell-G3-3579-FHD-8th-Gen-15-Gami…

It will come to $1143.20 with the 20% off coupon. I am hoping to spend no more than $1200 on the laptop.

I don't use the laptop for gaming but do occasionally use Photoshop and run a local server for development.

It seems to have decent specs. Any negatives or better options for similar price?

    You're paying for the dedicated graphics, which you've said you will never use (no noticeable difference to photoshop).

    You could play half that and get something capable for your needs.

    That is a good deal though.

      Thanks its the best 15inch FHD + CPU combination I could fine. I might have to spend some extra cash upgrading the RAM and HDD unfortunately
