  I’ve been keeping an eye on this product since missing the Snowys deal for $279.90 delivered about 18 months ago. I don’t think that’s likely to happen again any time soon :(

  I have the exped duo mat and also the adventure kings inflatable and can tell you they are pretty much the same for comfort. Originally bought the exped because the build quality appears better and the pump seemed handy. However if you are going offroad 4wding then the pump is not needed because most people hook up the portable electric pump. Save some dollars and get a really good memory foam gel pillow is my recommendation.

    Thanks for mentioning your experiences. I am thinking about maybe the Wanderer 4X4 Queen Touring Mat from BCF. The current Club Price on this sale item is $154 and I'm pretty sure I've seen it before at about $120.

    I will also have a look at the Adventure Kings one too but I have never heard of that one.

    I think you are right though, the Exped would have been great at $279 but for occasional use, one of these others on sale will probably be good enough.

      That is the one. one thing with either of these is I've never been able to get the size down unless i use a vacuum. I've seen wanderers, oztrail and black wolf out there in the wilderness so very popular too, lots of kings now because its cheap and cheerful. The exped is considerably lighter than the kings

  Exped Megamat - absolutely no comparison in comfort to your Oztrail type 4x4 mat. Had the Blue Oztrail for years - was OK but massive when rolled up. GOt the megamat duo in the last deal for $299. About a quarter of the size packed up so it fits in the car now, and so much more comfy.
