Dell XPS 13 9380 and Dell Active Pen PN579X

I just got a new Dell XPS 9380 4K touch laptop. I'm wondering whether it will work with the DELL PN579X Active Pen?

No, you may use a capacitive stylus though

No, Dell Premium Active Pen (PN579X,) can be only used with Dells 2-in-1s with a Windows Ink compatible display.

I'd heard they work to an extent but the second a dock was added into the equation they started failing.

You could always talk to Dell easier to go to the horses mouth (same amount of effort), the web page may have not been updated, (there was no mention of it on the 9380 product page at all though) wasn't even listed as an accessory.

So maybe you're outa luck and it's just not supported at all
