Recommendations for Home Security System

This for the house which we own and live in.
Looking to get security cameras for the home - something I can just leave out front and in the garden long term.
Appreciate any specific recommendation.

    Ring door bell in the front, and ring cam at the back. Easy to install. cheap subscription.
    Or Arlo system with free subscription.

    How technical are you? Can you run network cables?

    IMO Look at the X2 Security stuff, same gear as Hikvision basically. Decent cameras and a DVR under $1000.
