  Thanks for your response bobbified but I can’t see anywhere in that link that mentions transferring to an account with different name. If you can so kindly point that out, I’d really appreciate it.

    Ooops.. sorry dude. I screwed up by not reading your post properly.
    
    I did it a few years ago - 80,000 points to my brother's account for a business class seat to HK and it went through without any problems.
