Woohoo!! nice. Now what is Game Pass and how do I get it for free?

    • First month is $1 then $10.95 a month for about 100 games. Some older some newer. They cycle through. It’s worth it.

      • Comes with Sea of Thieves, Rare Replay, Halo collection. These games can all be bought for a few bucks on cdkeys usually mind.

        • I think i'll spend $1 to try minecraft

@freewhere: that's probably a good deal. I dunno, I bought the java Minecraft beta for $5, which upgraded to the exe version, and then the Windows version, and then the windows 10 version which unlocked the xbox version. So I don't need to buy it again anyway.

            • @AustriaBargain: Hmm? How did your windows 10 version unlock the Xbox version? They aren’t play anywhere.

        • That’s some of the games yes.. but there is also a lot more.

@[Deactivated]: Most of them bad or cheap anyway. I got a year subscription because most first party MS games I want to play when they are new anyway.

            • @AustriaBargain: Most games are cheap if you’re an OzBargain regular!

    • I bought an Xbox One X on Black Friday last year, paid $1 or 2 for a month of Game Pass, turned off auto-renew and got an offer to extend to two months if I turned it back on (accepted and turned it straight back off again, of course). Then I started using Microsoft Rewards, I spend a few minutes every morning earning points with Bing searches, I save those points for 3 month Game Pass codes, and they keep my subscription going indefinitely without ever paying real money.

      • So you're able to collect enough 3 month gamepass codes through rewards to keep you going without interruptions? I've recently installed the app but cannot gather exactly how your able to do this? I can barely get 50 points per day through the quizzes and polls.

        • You get points by doing searches using the bing browser

  • I managed to get 2 months game pass when they had that deal of 2 months for $2. Been playing Forza Horizon 4 all that time so definitely getting my money's worth (I'll be getting bored of it after 2 months anyway)

If you ignore the Game pass trial and 1 month for one dollar ads long enough.

    You get the targeted
$3 for three months. ($3.30 when you check out, GST I think)

    Resist.

  • So do you get to keep the games forever or do they stop working at the end of the month?

    • They’ll stop working when the subscription expires - similar to Netflix.

You don’t keep the games. You’re only paying to access them.
