  • What differs you from the rest of the market, why is your ceramic knvies better than others?

    • Easy to answer. Quality, look and feel.

I hope your knives have better quality than this answer.

      • Wrong place to be looking for people to pay for look and feel. What's the quality aspect, looks exactly any other ceramic knife but black. If you're going to sell something you'll have to have a better answer than that.

Sharper and Lightweight are the first two descriptors

They do look nice, minus the shaver.

Never been fond of ceramic knives, they hold their edge, but tips snap to easily

Not so durable though the ceramics. If mishandled and certainly if dropped - they will snap/break, which is also relatively common with the harder Japanese knives. A bit like dropping the soap when doing time… don't drop the knife! And don't every try to catch one should it fall.
Ceramics are certainly impressive in theory though I must say.
This is why I much prefer (non-ceramic) German, Brazilian, U.S. and MANY other brands that are not so hard & less forgiving for the average user.
It can be said that even they can break,
but nowhere nearly as likely as a harder knife as by virtue of the composition and/or curing process they are much more brittle.
Japanese knives take a close 2nd though for my usage/requirements/IMO. Though be assured, just because a knife is Japanese DOES NOT mean it will sharpen up well or have good edge retention. Certainly one of the 'big brand/common' Japanese knives on the market are crap IMO. Brilliantly marketed though. I'd rather have a $5 'Kiwi', which by the way sharpen up amazingly, the only downfall is that the edge retention is very average.
Consider carpeting the floor with a good spongy' underlay if you want Japanese or ceramic knives in the kitchen is my advice.
And don't get me started on Damascus knives. They sure do look good though. Great for hanging on a wall… and leaving there for show.
Note that these are only my opinions. I will not enter into 'knife nut' arguments. A polite chat or question on the other hand is more than welcome.
