  • My question is it powerful enough to power multiple USB hard disks?

Mine existing one from eBay with power adapter but won't work with multiple USB 2.5" hard disks.

    • Idk, but I bought 2 orico transparent USB 3.0 drives 16 each on eBay, comes in a box with a USB cable. It has a USB type b and a micro USB slot for extra power, i plug my micro USB slot into the 2.0 USB socket and it’s powerful enough to handle 3 hand drives and a USB , not sure about 4 though but I only 3 hard drives.

Looks really cool as you can see everything inside and really secure with 4 screws. After buying orico USB hub I never bought a no name Chinese USB 3.0 hub again, it was so doggy those Chinese ones a small twist or turn disconnects and it reconnects 2 seconds later

  • After buying orico USB hub

    Any link what you bought?

    Thanks

  • I bought this at 24$ full price. It's not bad, but I haven't done a lot of tests on it. I needed an externally powered hub, iirc I considered the orico transparent one but that one is not externally powered (with an AC adaptor).
    Hope this helps.
