  • Excellent customer service! Thanks MM

  • it is also supposed to support FCP & QC4, but I did not detect it.

From the link you gave, but I can't see anywhere that says it is meant to support FCP. Interesting to note however.

Looks like a really solid product, so I may pick one up (good price, especially with the travel plugs!)

Edit: and massive props to MM for going to the effort of getting the products properly reviewed.

  • Amazing customer service. Worth paying more…

  • Anyone able to confirm if the 3 in 1 is mfi certified? I did read the descriptions first, but did not find anything that mentions the certification.
    Tia.

      Confirmed it's not Mfi unfortunately

      • Cheers MM, thanks for answering

      • Some of my ios devices refuse to charge without MFI.

Just letting people know about the 3 in 1 cable. Whilst it is good, it however doesn't support QC. My Focus' stock Android Auto/Apple Car Play head unit recognises it as a USB hub but AA/ACP still work through it.

Got mine from this AliExpress link which is different to the one posted above but same price.

$11 is a good price for local.

Looks like a decent charger! Good for my Zmi Powerbank, thanks M&M :)

  • is the triple cable MFI and IF cerified?

I like the cable but I'm a bit of a cheapskate to pay $11 for one.

    • Not Mfi nor USB-IF (not relevant here really) certified unfortunately

      • why wouldn't it be relevant if it has a USB C head?

        • Well, this one is just a USB-A to USB-C at USB2.0 speed, legacy old technology that's been around for some time.

The USB-IF usually is for C-C cable for high data and high power applications (to my basic knowledge)

  • The link below is for the same Baseus 3 in 1 Cable with the same 5V 3.5A specs, it's also braided.
    www.aliexpress.com/item/Baseus-3-in-1-USB-Cable-for-Mobile-P…
But it has 2 major differences, each cable is a different colour, making it easier to find your favourite cable.
It only costs AU$7.16 for the 1.2M cable and it's from the official Baseus website!!
They also have a 0.3M cable AU$5.73, this is ideal to keep with your power bank, it charges almost any phone except for old iPhones,
or it's good to have in your car as a spare for your family/friends to use.

  • Got the cable today but no fast charging. Tried on S8, Note 8 and Note 9, all charges at less than 1.5A which is painfully slow at 5V/1.5A. As of USB speeds, even that is USB 1.1 speeds, rep what do you want me to do ? Can you check with Baseus on the certification of these cables please ?

    • The proper specification is USB2.0 speed, and 5V3.5A across 3 output ports at the same time, or 5V2A via one port. No support of any higher voltage.

Happy to take it back if you aren't satisfied with the product, simply go through "your orders" on Amazon and choose return item, a return postage label will be provided free of charge.

      Hope this helps!

      • So 10W max on one port , so does it support 480 Mbps on all the 3 ports. Tried with a micro USB 3.0 card reader hub and it is transferring at max 4-5 MB/s which is USB 1.1 speeds. Can't be bothered to arrange and be at home for a pick up. Will chat with Amazon. This is just like a nasty cheapo eBay cable, only good thing is good build quality but it's not certified to any standards. I will contact Baseus as well

        • I just did a quick testing and my transfer speed is about 12-15 MB/s which is significantly higher than USB1.1 speed.

You can drop it off at a newsagency or post office nearby, there are plenty of options available nationwide.

          • @Mostly Melbourne: Is that on this same Baseus Cable. Are you using a USB-C Android phone or lightning iPhone ?

            • @regenade: I'm using the same 3 in 1 All Data cable (blue), with a Samsung S8 via USB-C, transferred a video file of 1.5GB in 119 seconds.
