    The Last of Us is one of the best games I ever played. Highly recommend it if you haven't played it.

    The below four games are a must buy if you haven't played them.

    Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
    Uncharted 4: A Thief's End

    Little Big Planet 3 also gets a notable mention. While disappointing compared to 1 & 2, it's still worth it for the online content (Be warned really long load times and disconnections)

      Do you think the first three uncharted games are worth the time when I already have a ridiculously large backlog of games filled with many 10s of hours of open world games? The price isn't my concern, but they'll be taking time from much more recent games with more modern mechanics.

        No. In my opinion, 3 is the best, but if you dont have time, just play U4.

        and there is no such a thing as "must buy". they may be "must buys" to the op, but certainly not me. (I did play through the last of us and UC series though).

            @maverickjohn: I messed it up. Actually 2 is indeed the best. after 2, i played 3 which was utterly disappointing and boring. Then i sold my ps3/4. then i bought a ps4 pro. then i got 4 which was ok, but 2 is still way better imo.

        Time is the exact reason I'd recommend the Uncharted games over most, if not all, of those open world games. They're all just a good, solid, tightly designed, written and paced 10 hours or so each (except for Uncharted 4 which is a fair bit longer, but not any better for it). I'm the kind of person who'd rather play 5 10 hour games than 1 50 hour game. Not that I object to long games altogether - I just finished Persona 5 which took me a good 130 hours.

        While I don't mind a bit of the modern day open world style stuff, I find they very rarely have enough substance to them to actually justify the ridiculous amount of time (40 - 100 hours) that they seem to want you to put in. Unless you just smash through the main quest without doing anything else, which kind of defeats the purpose of the open world design in the first place. But ultimately I don't think the game play in there is any better than a tight, well crafted 10 hour single player game, and often actually worse. It's more like the same 10 hours of game diluted over 50 hours of time.

        I'd suggest you just grab the Uncharted trilogy and when you want a break from whatever open-world epic you're playing you can smash through an Uncharted in a weekend or a week (depending how much gaming time you've got), then go back to your open world game.

          I liked The Last Of Us which I just played a month ago, for exactly the reason you specify. It's like the shorter scripted games respects the player's time more.

          My issue with open world games is that I find it almost impossible to not go explore every little map item. Maybe psychologically it's 'fear of missing out', or something along those lines. For me the most interesting parts of, say, Horizon: Zero Dawn are when there's more scripting going on, but at the same time I feel like I'm playing it wrong if I ignore the extra little settlements etc around the place.

      Shipping is capped at $5.95 which means this is all warehouse stock and not shelf stock from shops. That should mean they come factory sealed.

      You do get the DLC built into the PS4 version, though tbh you can take or leave the DLC, I barely remember it outside of people losing their shit over the kiss.

    I've played through Uncharted 1-3, currently halfway through Uncharted 4.
    At this price, there is no excuse not to get them, highly recommended.
    Last of Us is really amazing too as mentioned by others here.
    Bloodborne is on my completion list, although for me 30fps made it a little less enjoyable.

    Great deal. I had this deal bookmarked and sat on it for a while. Worried it would have expired by now but bought today. I had played and sold/tradee uncharted 1-4 and last of us and loved them all.

    Just rebought all 5 games again as I HAVE A ps4 pro (last played on a regular ps4) and a 4k TV and 4k projector and would happily play them again. At $30,no brainier for me.
