    WTF, why sell an almost-complete-except-missing-one set???

        Ah ok, I didn't realise (Tyrell's Wines, I'm guessing).

        I guess that's fair enough then.

        It's still annoying that it's an incomplete set, but retract my comment about it being dodgy!

    These are to be released in 2 ways, as the single bottles and as a boxed pack of 7. Doesn't mention if it's the boxed pack or just the single bottles as a 'bundle'

    There seems to be plenty of stock in the UK - the individual bottles were released a month ago, but there is still plenty of stock on Amazon UK etc. I suspect they will release the single bottles in decent quantities, but guessing the price points will be fairly significant.

      I cant find the brochure, but the most expensive were retailing at 130, the others were either 115 or 100, can't remember exactly

        They're $50-$80 whiskey's priced up to cover the cost of licensing. No ages are listed for some of them, this is a near guarantee they're very basic cheap to make whiskeys.

        So it's RRP $790 worth of whiskey that's probably only really worth < $400 without the promotional angle plus a bottle of Johnnie White which is… fine. It's fine. I'm sure all of it is fine.

        But you're almost certainly overpaying $300 on the whiskey for the theme.

        Is it a bad deal? No. Is it a good deal? No. It's slightly better than RRP in a $800 purchase of a mediocre product that's licensed a name.

          Sounds like a NES mini argument, these are selling out quickly worldwide and selling with a huge mark up in multiple regions. They will sell out, and will sell for more.

      I drink lagavulin and that is around $100 for either the 16 year or the 8 year. I would be interested in buying a bottle of the GOT 9 year if they do end up being sold separately.

        Master of Malt used to have it (last week I checked). They are now all out of stock. Maybe you have to keep eyes on as this set sold out very quick. $799 is quite reasonable, my friend imported the whole thing from Amazon UK for >$1K.

    So there's not really any justification why certain whisky represents certain House? Why didn't they get Dalmore to represent House Baratheon? Penderyn to be Targaryen. Maybe Kraken Rum to be House Greyjoy etc.

      All Diageo Whiskeys, they most likely paid a lot. Not sure who distributes Dalmore or Penderyn, but Kraken is Proximo. They can only use brand's they own
