Virgin Gold without Reaching 500 Staus Credits (I'm on 496)

Hi All,

Just wondering if anyone has come accross this before?

I was getting super close to Virgin Gold as I had couple of flights last week with the bonus status credits deal from earlier in the year.

My current balance has just reached 496 credits but when I log into my account they've already got me as gold.

Has anyone seen that before? It's as though they're rounding up or maybe I have some flybuy credits coming through for the month which aren't on the statement yet.

Either way, I'm happy if I manage to stay there as I was going to lose 60 credits in 2 weeks from flights last year.

    I've heard of this happening. It's been reported on either the ausbt or PointHacks forums.

    Yep pretty normal. Even if they didn't, you can call up and ask nicely and there's a good chance they will bump you up. Same with QANTAS.

    I'm on 395 status credits… I wonder how early they might give me gold?!?!?!?

      Good luck! From what I can tell you'll need to be 490+ at least.

      I'm already back at 470 after losing a few but Gold is good for the next 12 months according to my account.
