Which budget (techfast) gaming PC?

I've decided to pull the trigger on a new gaming pc for the kids.
Tech Fast are included in the ebay 20% off sale. I've read the pros and cons of this mob and decided it's worth the gamble.

They typically play kids stuff - The Sims, Farming Simulator, House Flippers. Nothing too heavy, just running an old 22" Samsung monitor - nothing flash.

I know either of these systems will run these games but I'm interested in your opinions to see if it is worth spending a little more initially to get longer before upgrading.
I'm also aware that these systems are limited and upgrading is likely to require new mobo, PSU etc.

Ryzen 2600/RX580 8GB; $600

Budget-wise I can go for any of them. Is the 2600/RX580 going to be usable for enough time over the 2300/RX570 to be worth the extra $140?

My current setup is an I5 6500/RX580 4Gb so I may even steal the 8GB RX580 for my machine if I go that way :)

2600/RX580 will last till his unidays

4 threads vs 12 threads, no brainer for future-proofing, plus 8gb Vram to spare

he can stream while gaming or do productivity work like video editing

  • If you're fine spending the extra (or just considering a monitor upgrade eventually) grab the 2600 580 build. It's better by enough of a margin to be more then worth the price bump.

Otherwise, the r3 2200g + 570 will be more then enough.
