How to Record Free to Air TV on Samsung UA55NU8000XXY

Hi All,

I'm looking to find out what options are available to pause and record Free to air TV.

The TV is a Samsung UA55NU8000XXY. It has USB recording so I was thinking that would be the easiest way? What would be the cheapest hard drive to buy that would do the job?

Priority is really just pausing live FTA TV and sometimes recording one show.

I got a portable HDD for mine. Cheap 1TB HDD.

You mentioned cheapest and shortish recordings.
I've found a 16GB stick plenty enough.
