Is this suitable for Xiaomi dash camera?

    • I bought the Xiaomi dashcam yesterday too, wondering whether if I can buy this, or dish out $33 for a 64gb Sandisk High Endurance.

10MB/s write speed, for those that care about this.

Saved me having to look it up. Thanks

Such a slow write speed is a deal breaker for me

    • +1

Correct me if I'm wrong but that seems rather slow compared to the standard rate eh

    • Yes, so not great if you're using to shoot 4K footage for example!

  • Can anyone help - I want to finally upgrade my micro SD in my Switch to 256gb. Do you think the Kingston brand would be just as good as Samsung, for this kinda thing?

I'd definitely consider paying the extra $9 for the Samsung here with higher read and far higher write speeds considering how much data you'll be reading/writing to it. Have also had much better luck with Samsung cards (vs SanDisk and Kingston), but that's only based on my tiny sample size.

      • Thanks for the advice. Was leaning that way!

Found a review (also includes the full size SD card so read carefully): https://www.storagereview.com/kingston_canvas_select_sd_micr…

Kinda surprising that the review was posted in 2018, yet the speeds, especially the writes, even for a UHS-1 U1 card are middling at best. But they do hit the "promised" minimum of 10MB/s writes that U1 cards in sequential speeds, so, they're alright, I guess?

  • Are these any good for using in Nintendo switch?

    • no i recommend something else to slow get samsung evo or sandisk
