Bad Experience with CableGeek

I'm here to share you my bad experience with cablegeek.com.au I made an order on their site and as soon I paid I received 2 emails. One was indicating it has shipped and the other was the invoice. Now that doesn't seem right cause I just paid and you can't just instantly ship a product that fast. The invoice was also incorrect cause it didn't list the product that I ordered. It was basically invoice with empty product listed and charged. I emailed and waited 2days but I didn't get a reply so I tried contacting them through their ebay store but still no response. Their site doesn't even give you their phone number so I'm totally annoyed at how they won't fix their invoice and reply to my emails. I'm about to open to dispute with paypal if I don't get these problems fixed if I don't hear from them in a week.

  • Have you ordered from their ebay store? If not why not?

    If they provide paypal to be paid as option , it should be ok as everyone know what paypal will do if product non delivered.

    Wait few more days and see if your product arrived.

    • I didn't order from their ebay store cause it was cheaper to buy it from their main site. I'm just gonna wait a week before opening a dispute but what I'm really concern is fixing the invoice since I need it for claiming tax

  • What was the value of the purchase?

    • I ordered a wall charger that cost $30 + $5 for express shipping

      • That isn't a substantial amount; I'd do as others have suggested and wait a few more days (your post didn't indicate how long you have been waiting for the 'express' delivery)

        Some businesses can ship very quickly:
        order in / pick product / put in outward shipping / etc.

    people need to look up the definition of scammer…

    companies don't build up a business just to wait for op to order a $30 wall charger, to "scam him" and take his money and disappear into the internet wilderness

    How about waiting for the item to arrive? Will probably have a correct invoice with it.

    More on topic:

    I bought 3 x 3m powerline+ micro USB nylon braided cables from them about 2.3 years ago and everything went fine.

    They are legit and their rep (Cablegeek) is very good.
