I guess that depends on your personal preference. Personally, I prefer this months titles over the rubbish from last month.
I think last month was slightly less rubbish than this month. The fact is that they removed four titles per month and we were supposed to get better games for it. Well these don't really look better at all in my opinion.
Can't argue with that.
Although it was only an assumption by PS+ users that the quality of the titles would improve. Sony never confirmed this would be the case and judging from the first 2 months of the new system, it doesn't look as though it's going to pan out that way either.
The way things are going at the moment, they've lost my subscription when it expires. I barely play paid/retail online games as it is, and free to play games are playable without PS+ so the value of PS+ has been dramatically decreased due to this change.
@shadowx: I'm in the same position though I did just resub in the sale. I need a plus sub for a bit longer for sim racing but I'll be building a gaming rig in a few months and once I do the plus subs are over. I rarely play the games they put on there, not since the early days was there much value in it for me, when they used to keep to the quality promise that they made.

Do you still need PS+ to play multiplayer? Eg. FIFA, NFS, GTA?
Quality is subjective. These games got 73% & 68% on Metacritic v 83% & 87% for last month’s games. Personally and critically, this month is average at best.
That may be true as far as Metacritic reviews go, but personally I found last months The Witness to be a snooze-fest, and CoD4 is the same game I played over 10 years ago with microtransactions squeezed in. Of course, The Witness its just not my type of game and i'm sure it has its niche audience but review scores don't always reflect whether you will or will not like a game. I've played plenty of games with "average" or below metacritic scores that i've enjoyed a lot.
The Surge is quite fun to scratch that Souls itch. Or you could just play Sekiro..

Because it's free vs 70-80 bucks? I've already got the Surge but still think it's a pretty good month / game.
Its not free though, you're still paying for it with your PS Plus Subscription, in my opinion this month is crap, if this keeps up I more than likely wont be renewing my subscription when it ends, Sony can get stuffed.
I was being overly harsh; I'm more just annoyed that Sony have axed 4 games monthly games from PS+ (PS3 and Vita titles), and the remaining 2 are frankly subpar games. Pathetic effort.
Yeah exactly, they took away the ps3 and vita games so you would have expected them to increase the quality or at least throw in another game, how about 2 decent games and a couple of the cheap indie titles for exposure or something like that, to deliver 2 ordinary games each month and nothing more is an insult to people who have paid for PS Plus for years like myself.
Wow, down to just 2 games and don’t wanna play either of them. The least Sony could do is toss in a couple of iPS4 indie titles, but if this keeps up, all the Stan and Netflix trials in the world won’t keep me buying PS+.
Don't you buy it for the multiplayer though?
They started their transition to 2 games on a high but seems they've fallen back down to earth.
Glad I didn't sub for another year expecting they would maintain that quality.
Instead of 6 shitty games, you're only getting 2 shitty games.
Might just "play" Conan Exiles for the easy Platinum. There's an exploit where you can get all the trophies within an hour.
