  The website works perfectly fine in chrome, can't see why an external app would be required.

  I use this one. Advantage over the mobile site is that I can bookmark deals and go back to them, and hide expired and out of stock deals from the settings.

    Yeah that's the same one I use. Interestingly it just shows as Aussie Deals in my App Drawer.

    You can do that on mobile site as well. You can bookmark deals, competitions, forum posts and individual comments and put them into folders.

    hide expired and out of stock deals

    You can do that from settings -> edit / deals and "Do not show expired deals" under the Front Page.

  Add an icon to your Android home screen:

  • Open Chrome
  • Browse to Ozbargain
  • Press the menu button
  • Press “Add to home screen”

  Now you have the OzB bookmark icon on your home screen just like an App

  As Scotty said in an AMA a while back, 99% of the deals are links to websites, where is the advantage of starting off in an App and then being pushed back to Chrome
