  • Buggo - do you work for Kogan???

  • No. What makes you say that?

Only posted this deal cause I just got my radio witch I paid more for. And I think its good bang for your $ considering the other more expensive brands out there that do the samething.

Also by the way I'm a long time stalker of ozbargain. This is my first time bargian post.

So it might seem I work for Kogan but I don't. Sorry to burst your bubble :)

    • Hello

Does it have a sleep button - e.g. tell it to switch off after 60 minutes?

    • Sorry to burst your bubble :)

A question based on Kogans past history here - as a long time lurker you MUST know we try to keep this site independent of manufacturers scamming or members by using fake "consumers". Kogan is banned from posting here because they did that many times, and members here dont like being conned.

If someone cons here, what will they do later when someone wants to deal with them with a genuine issue.

BTW a simple no would have sufficed

      • Sorry Pete wasn't meaning offense to you. If you want I'm happy to removed the posting.

Wasn't aware Kogan was banned from here. Just know there have been past Kogan deals from last year posted.

NO Kogan is banned from publishing - not individual members posting a deal. So deal can stand. Thanks

Hi, l realise you don't work for them, but if l had ordered it & it took nearly 2 months to receive & is now cheaper, well me personally l'd be cranky…. & definitely not posting a link in their favour!

      • Funny you mention that. This arvo I received a email from paypal for a partial refund for the Internet radio for $17. I didn't even ask them for it. Just they happened to refund that amount with no reason in the email.

          Good for you!

  • Yeah does has sleep timer. Only let down is you have to scroll into the main menu to access sleep or just notice on the remote control it has a sleep/snooze button on that so saves you having to scoll into the menu.

    • What I am looking for is a sleep button - if I listen late at night, I want it to switch off in say 60 minutes. Can it do that?

Other I have seen cannot do that. Instead they have a snooze button - so when the alarm goes off, you tell it to give you an extra 15 mins and then it goes off again.

  • I got an ealier model couple of years ago, not the best looking thing but work great. Run fine with my wireless G network, can stream mp3 from other computer on the same network. And when register with reciva.com you can manage favorite list etc online and it will sync with the radio, also sync with iPhone apps too.

    • Agree they aren't the best looking radios. Guess the features and sound quality make up for it.

    I have an alternative setup:
iPod Touch 8GB (with Internet radio App): $189
    Sony AM/FM iPod docking station ICFC1PMK2 (sleep/snooze/alarm/remote): $99

    Much more versatile setup.

Sounds good. What's the name of the App and do you have a link to a list of stations that it can receive from?

  • can someone please explain the Internet radio to me??

I want to see if I can listen to radio channel from other countries…
Is there a list that I can look at? would really appreciate if someone point me to a list .. I am definitely buying this if I can listen to that oversea channel.. tq

    thanks!!

    • Yes, provided your International station has an Internet Radio service, you can get International Radio..

    • He if you have a look at this website it lists all the Internet radio stations you can listen to via the radio.

http://www.wifiradio-frontier.com just realized looks like you have to register first to see the list.

      • Can you maybe copy/paste and make a link to the list?
(I imagine 15,000 is too long to post here)

  • Pretty full featured.. and Very decent price given the feature set.
The only things I can see missing from my "perfect" list are Digital Output (it has Analog In/Out) and USB support.
