Does Ryobi one + Drills and batteries ever go on sale? It's mainly Bunnings that stock them as far as I can see.

Ryobi is imported and distributed by Bunnings.

Bunnings is tried hard to have a monopoly and monopsony so brands imported by Bunnings will likely only be sold by Bunnings.

Ryobi don’t usually go on sale as only Bunnings sell them. However, you can occasionally get a cheaper runout model.

FWIW I have both a brushless and a standard ryobi 18v drill. Both work fine. The brushless seems a stronger build with metal chuck etc but doesn’t noticeably have more power, it might have a more, but I don’t notice it. I prefer the non-brushless model when putting in lots of screws because the brushless one doesn’t have the little magnetic bit holder on the base. It is really handy to have a few screws stuck to the drill at times.
