Wi-Fi Hotspot Not Working in Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro

I am using a Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro mobile. Both 4G and 3G data works fine with my Belong sim.

When I share the data connection over WiFi hotspot, the connected device does not get internet.

I inserted the same SIM in another Samsung mobile, and the hotspot is working fine. That means the SIM has no problem.

I tried several troubleshooting steps including factory reset, but was not successful.

Please advise.

It's working. All your data is just going to the Chinese government.

US intelligence services successfully invents conspiracy theories that spread themselves like this.

Meanwhile the Australian Government bypasses Australian law using US assets ie. the Five Eyes Agreement to collect content. And legally collects metadata on every single person.

The Russians does the same. We're all in good hands.

I know it's not a pixel but try this:

In particular "Meanwhile, users have found out a temporary workaround till the company considers the problem worth fixing. All you have to do is to remove the APN type string value ‘default, supl’ in mobile network settings, so that the field is blank."

And if the tip by twadds doesn't work, then try adding "dun" to the same string.
