I'm looking to buy an iMac or Mac Pro, but am happy with one a couple of years old. I'd prefer to avoid buying directly from a Gumtree / eBay user for such a big purchase, so would love to get a demo or refurb model. Lots of places advertising this sort of thing in my Google results but it's not easy to sort the wheat from the chaff. I'm in Melbourne but would pay shipping from wherever there's a good deal.

I bought a refurbished Macbook Pro from Australian Computer Traders ebay store (when ebay 10% off was actually 10% and not capped at $50) and purchased an extended warranty with it for piece of mind.
The power adapter failed 6 months later and they sent a replacement in a few days without any questions. Would purchase with them again.
