  • Applies on Ola SUV as well?

    • +1

Yes it does. (Fare dropped from $57 to $28 on my side)

  • Did anyone just try this? FAQ says this is valid until 31 March?

Does this stack with new user referral bonus of $20?

    • It's a different deal. Expires end of Apr. Doesn't stack because you can only apply one code one time.

  • Thought I'd catch a Train to Werribee then go to Avalon, it's 24 klms in total! Any Ozbargainer wanna give me a lift instead?

    • when?

    • If your trip is more than 20km they say they just charge you the extra distance at the normal rate, so you still benefit from $25 for 20km.

  • Using this app and code, can we book future date, I mean after 30 April? Thanks

    • Not really. You cannot pre-book

  • Anyone else getting a error with the pickup code? Trying to use it for pickup and getting an "Sorry, we're unable to serve your request".

Never worked at Sydney international airport- pickup

    • I've used it twice from Sydney airport, once domestic and once international.

  • Where do I put the code in the iOS app? Thanks

    • +1

I think you put it in just before you request the ride

      • Ah ok. Thanks

Has anyone succeeded in getting a ride with these Ola codes?

    • +1

No. Just tried from Tul to southern cross. $32 was quoted and despite 4 cars showing. No one picked up. Took the skybus. I think I'll stick to uber.

  • Does anyone have a code for more than $10 off per ride? I don't need to go to the airport.. But I need to get from chatswood to Fairfield tomorrow and need a code for some sort of app (uber, taxify, ola, etc)

    • Use the referral links above for $20 off your first ride?

      • Issue was, I downloaded and signed up before I realised a referral would get me $20. I looked at deleting my account, but it doesn't delete straight away and it goes by your mobile number. So unfortunately, I can't go by a referral code now. It's too late

          A new phone number? XD

        • you may be able to enter a referral code as the promo code?

  • Ola rides to and from the airport are available in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra and Gold Coast.

What I found is ola support doesn’t like to be provided feedback and if they do not like the content of your email they start blocking my emails and will never hear any response from them.

    • +1

I only travel with them when they have offers tbh lol

    Worked for me this morning.
    Strange enough though:
Prime Sedan (basic cars) have an estimated fare of $54 while SUV projected to be $58. After applying coupon, price became $34(sedan) and $28(SUV) respectively. Which makes no sense?
(Melbourne CBD to Tullamarine airport btw)

    • Probably updated the fares while the coupon was being applied

  • Last time I tried to use a Ola discount atvtge airport I got 3 cancels in a row, ended uo just getting a uber. Was only a short distance to be fair but still annoying.

  • There was some other code already populated in the app yesterday that brought my fare to the airport down to $16. I am about 20kms away.

  • Ola is very good! No uber anymore

  • I used Ola once and then referred my fren , now I got $10 off for the next 10 rides :) it basically makes 5 days free transport to work and back home.

I'll then register my business account to ola. Uber was a rip off.

  • Tried this last week, coupon ended up more expensive than referral but I’ll post this here so others can read my experience. Going from Broadway to Sydney International Airport; using the oladrop code would have been $22 or $44 on an SUV (didn’t register as $25 discount?), so ended using a referral code which brought the ride down from $28ish to $8.50. Took 2-3 attempts to connect to a driver, and although the GPS for Ola was wonky, was still easy to meet up with driver. Did notice the driver had an Uber and Ola sticker on his back window though lol.

Driver got confused between my pin and the terminal and took a 2km detour that cost me $11 extra ($19.15 total). Brought up that the driver made an unnecessary detour with Ola, and got a $7.07 refund, so total was $12.08. Not bad if you consider the airport access fee for two people. Probably wouldn't use again unless the code worked for next time.

  • I can't get this discount to work at all on my account

  • Thanks op, my ride ended up being $32 with this code but still excellent value.

  • It was terrible when I use it this Monday, I ordered a ride for $24 from airport and it was confirmed by a driver. However when the cars arrives my order suddenly changed to another destination and marked as finished, also my account was charged of $14. I went to the driver, but he said he never saw my order and he showed me his phone, it was another order he accepted!
