Recommendation for Cheap and Decent Speakers for Echo Dot?

Looking for a recommendation on some cheap and decent speakers to use with an Echo Dot? Cabled preferable, so don't need to worry about charging etc. Wife is using Echo Dot more and more, playing music/radio etc. and finding its inbuilt speaker quite poor (obviously). Other noise around usually (family, external, etc.) so sound performance is not strong, just something decent and cheap to improve the audio quality and volume a little.
