Home Phone with Wireless Modem and SIM Slot to Make Call and Access Internet via 4G

Hi,

Need some idea on the SIM base land phone with router facility for the internet.

I use Wingle (USB wireless dongle)at home get internet via 200GB sim card. The sim can support making calls, however, with the current setup, it is not utilised. Thus, I am looking for a wireless router solution which can help me to access the internet as well as to calls facility.

Any suggestion or hack that can be done to archive this.

Happy to clarify if above is confusing.

The device you are looking for is called a mobile phone.
Why not enable the mobile hotspot for data and use the phone for making voice calls?

Well I've done some research for you and looks like one of these could do the job - ERICSSON W35 or Powertec W800
Not sure if these are available in Australia though.

  • I know such a device does exist, or at least used to exist. I had one but it was only 3G. It would take a Sim card, provide wifi, 4 Ethernet ports and port for connecting a regular phone. It would use the Sim card for calling and not use VoIP. The device was a 3G10WVT. It would still work today but only 3G and only at 14 Mbit max. It's likely more modern devices exist.
