Mobile Car Battery Supply Install Recommendations (Brisbane South-East)

Hello,

Current car battery has died (about 3.5 years old) which was originally purchased and installed by Kmart Tyre Auto Service (Exide DIN55MF - 550CCA/55AH). As I don't have roadside assist or a jump start solution, does anyone have recommendations for a company/person that does reasonably priced and reliable mobile car battery supply/install around Brisbane south-east area?

Got a quote from Kmart Tyre Auto Service of $249 for a new battery (Century DIN65LH - 660CCA/68AH) supplied/fitted however only issue is they don't offer a mobile service and I don't have a method to take the car to them since the car won't start.

Note that this is not urgent. Car is a 2007 Audi A3 1.8L turbo petrol 4 door hatchback automatic 8P (not quattro and not start stop engine).

Thanks!

I had the same issue on Tuesday, luckily I always carry Jumper Cables.

    I used https://www.batterycentralbrisbane.com.au/

I believe they do free delivery (but not install). I got the Super charge Gold with 3year warranty. A 55 seems to be around $135.

    • good to know

how quick do they deliver ?

I drove there and swapped the battery in the car park.

I would imagine if the Brisbane store has it and you order it in the morning it would most likely be same day.

  • Airtasker

  • Marshall Batteries and Battery World both do mobile battery replacement.

Hop on bus to local mall/kmart/supercheap and haul it back and install yourself…save yourself some $$

  • In WA RAC will still sell & deliver a battery to non-members. Worth check with their QLD counterparts.
