    "1024 x 768p HD Resolution"

    This is a stupid resolution, it's a native 4:3 ratio unsuitable for widescreen TV's.

      The resolution is fine for a widescreen TV. The pixels are rectangular which means there will be no distortion when displaying a 16:9 image.

    I wouldn't trust any serious dollars on LG equipment and the resolution is crap but for a spare TV in a rumpus room or something like that where you don't really care too much it's not bad.

    The price is decent, the product is average.

    Use your bargaining power to get a decent brand (Samsung, Panasonic, Sony), full HD (1920x1080), maybe even 3D as well and that'd be much more appealing.
