  • Good deal. Also for most other days you can just get them to price beat Malindo air :)

Best way to enjoy Bali? Don't go there.

I like the idea of one way flights to Bali, that way the people who go to Bali stay there.

Adelaide isn’t exactly spoiled for choice with direct flights to international holiday destinations. This is literally the only Qantas/Jetstar international flight out of Adelaide.

Anyway, there are plenty of beautiful spots and great resorts in Bali if you’re willing to spend more than $50/night. Only a bogan would think Bali is exclusively for bogans.

        • Any areas that you would recommend to stay in Bali?

@Sir Flabo: The “cities” section on here is a good overview https://wikitravel.org/en/Bali

I like Sanur, the Fairmont is great but not cheap, and the Hyatt has recently reopened.

If you want a semi-luxury stay for less money and probably won’t leave the resort check out Nusa Dua. The Westin seems to have the best ROI. Sofitel is good.

@Sir Flabo: We stayed at The Laguna, right next to The Westin. Check those pools on google maps, can be seen from space! The main pool has a big sandy beach entrance. Food’s expensive, but you’re in Nusa Dua. Bali Collection mall is 10m walk (or shuttle) South, with more/cheaper dining options. Hotel hopping for pools, or walking along the beach path checking the after dark beachfront hotel dining options is nice (even if you’re on your way to Bali Collection for a cheaper bite - ha!).

Cheers for this, I managed to book a flight with $165 departure and $120 return, so quite the deal for Adelaide - thanks OP.

Does anyone have any positive suggestions about where to go in Bali? I'm looking for a relaxing short stay.
