The current deal on their website is $698 down to $498. However they have no stock online and so you need to check the stores directly. When you check their stock levels ask them if they are selling their display model for $400, like other Big W stores. I can confirm that it was certainly the case at the 3 stores that I rang in the Hunter region. BTW - don't bother trying Jesmond as that is the one that I got! If I can get my scanner working I shall post the receipt if that helps others.
This may be National. IDK. I certainly hope so in order that all OzB's can get this bargain. At the very least it is worth a try.

YMMV if you're attempting to purchase the display models at a discount. The Big W I used to work at was reluctant to discount display TVs. The fact that it's a discontinued model should give you some leverage, but if the selling price had already been lowered, we'd often not give a further discount at all. Display discounts beyond the national selling price are at managerial discretion, and there's no obligation to match the discounts of other stores.
