Best Bluetooth OVER-EAR Headphones under $100 in 2019

I am looking to buy one for myself but going cheap as can't afford anything more. Things I am looking for:

  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Built in microphones for smartphone usage
  • Decent sound quality

Can I get some suggestion please :)

I was in a similar situation few months ago but my budget happened to be $150 instead of $100. See my post here

I finally settled with the Cowin SE7 for $139 - 10% off during an eBay sale and quite happy with it. As expected noise cancelling is just ordinary, but with BT5 and AptX and super long battery life it is a pretty good deal. Audio and Bass is quite good and the cushions are super soft and comfortable.

Otherwise you can find regular deals on Taotronics Headphones on OZB and I'm sure there would be plenty of buyers here who would be happy to recommend one.

As above Taotronics might be a good option. They got few models on sale right now.

You can compare the sound signature and noise canceling against Bose and Sony on JimsReivewRom, about halfway through the video.

The Taotronics are my daily drivers.

So far no complaints only that I wonder if the premium options really are that much better.

I mean honestly the sound quality seems good enough although I know some models have better bass so better punch which I like but honestly the only other thing I would want in more costlier wireless Bluetooth over ear headphones are more battery life and if possible more cushion for the ears but the Taotronics are near perfect especially for the money.

  • Suggested TaoTronics BH-040

About half a year ago, I picked up the Taotronics BH-040's of Amazon, and so far they have been really good. For the price (~$70), I couldn't recommend these more.

The sound quality is up there with bigger brands and the ANC was surprisingly good.
The ear cups especially are also really soft and comfortable, very similar to the ones you can find on the QC35's or Sony's WH-1000MX3.

    Here's a decent review:

    SPOILERS: BUY THEM.

How do I stop these "Join the discussion" entries appearing in my feed?

  • Suggested Taotronics TT-BH060

I can't seem to get a clear answer anywhere on the Taotronics (060, 022 etc) as to lag with video. They dont have aptx, so does anyone have any comments watching video on your phone for example?

  • August EP650 - Bluetooth Wireless Over Ear Headset with NFC and aptX with Cable Backup - $70

I took a chance on these due to all the great reviews, I'm very glad I did.

  • I have a TaoTronics, BH46. They are ok, too much bass IMO compared to Senn or ATC but not a dealbreaker. If you are getting one though have a look at video reviews of how they look over someone's head. To me the earmuffs are embarrassingly big and they choke when you put them around the neck making you even look more silly. So, maybe good to have in the office, but not one you wanna be seen with in the trains.
