  • can you buy extra jug seperately?

You can but it's far cheaper to just buy 2 full units.

This kenwood like other blenders seem to burn out if run more than 50 secs. Their wattage and power is like the Chinese equivalent of extraction of a range hood. All come with 90% GST added.

By a real blender and safe yourself from grief, leaks burnout and scalding!

    • The cheap Kogan one has worked quite well for me. I really only use it to make smoothies and cocktails tho.

    • I have this model and it runs for more than 50 secs no worries. Also what are you blending for more than 1min anyway?

Having said that the blades on this model are way too small and don’t create a good whirling motion to blend effectively like Vitamix et al. It is 1/10th the cost though.

Blenders like this are useless in my experience - everything gets caught up in it and it seizes.

Get yourself a decent food processor.

  • The black one is still available. I think I’ll get one just for frozen margaritas.
