Is it a Samsung phone and Aus stock and in the first 2 years? Then the Manufacturer warranty comes into play and you can visit any Samsung store or call their support to have a technician assess and confirm.
If you're in a capital city you can take it to a Samsung store (if there is one, I know there is one in Melbourne Central).
I had my Note 9 screen broken a few days ago. Only realised after paying at Samsung Store for the repair, that I had paid for the phone using Amex card, which covers up to $500 for screen damage. If you are in the same boat, worth checking. I still have to submit the claim though.

I went to Office Works at Westfield Garden City, Brisbane this morning and their staff said that they don't do any price beat with item selling on Amazon or Ebay. Ridiculous!
May be try another store? It sometimes comes down to store manager. I was able to get it for $806.55 as well. Store manager just wanted to make sure it’s local AU stock.
