Can Third Party Amazon Sellers Be Trusted?

So I may just be being too paranoid, but I just bought this laptop from Amazon AU.

https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B07M6W97YX/ref=ppx_yo_d…

From a third party seller called the onLine centre. They have lots of good reviews on both Amazon and Ebay but that isn't always that reliable but the laptop is the 4th best selling one on Amazon as well but no ones leaving a review for it from this seller.

Can I trust onLine? And if something is wrong will Amazon refund it? My main concern is if the laptop is fake or not the model they advertised it to be.

This appears to be their website and past OzBargain Deals from their store

    • Thank you!

It seems okay, but should I be worried? haha

Weird, same seller is listing for $1299 on eBay

    • I've noticed that too but with other sellers who also sell on both. I was told from one store that they charge more on eBay to cover the fees they get charged

  • So I just found a whirlpool thread talking about the seller and it seems mixed but inconclusive to me

Northing with the store, if you go into the store you can also negotiate the price.

  • Can Third Party Amazon Sellers Be Trusted?

No. But the buyer protections on Amazon can be trusted a lot more than eBay or other marketplaces.

  • LOL
Why are you worried after you bought it
What are you going to do now if you know they're trustworthy or a scam?
Wait until you get it then decide

    • Because I still had a chance to cancel my order on Amazon

      • You can return the item after you receive it though. Up to you mate. They can't stop the delivery if it's already been shipped.

Under the Amazon AU returns policy you may return most new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by Amazon AU within 30 days of receipt of delivery for a full refund of the price you paid for the item.

        • You make a good point I'm just stressing over nothing I think
