  • Router worked fine for few hours and than got disconnected.
Router works fine nothing wrong with it.

A router does not change its configuration by itself. Since you are certain the router is fine than the problem must be with the HFC connection to the nbn access network. Only ABB can help you with that because retail customers don't have control over the nbn access network. Tell ABB that your nbn worked for a few hours and then it was disconnected and stayed disconnected.

  • +1

Maybe check if there is new firmware to download and install. Even new sometimes the firmware is really old.

    • Switching firmware now will simply complicate the troubleshooting as you introduce new unknowns into the problem. OP should obtain a stable connection first before updating the firmware, unless the failure is caused by a known defect with the currently operating version.

      • First straw any support person will grasp is "firmware upgrade"

        • And straw and a deeper hole are all OP will get. Updating the firmware will not solve OP's problem, but it may appear to do so if coincidentally ABB repairs the connection after OP flashes a new firmware and the router resets.

Firmwares older than 1.0.4.28 (30/4/2015) has a problem with frequent Internet disconnections when a short DHCP lease is obtained, but this does not describe OP's problem with persistent disconnection.

Firmwares older than 1.0.3.68 (11/8/2014) has problems with IPv6 connection after 2-3 days of connectivity, but this does not describe OP's problem with disconnection after 6 hours.

Firmwares older than 1.0.3.60 (8/6/2014) has a disconnection problem when torrenting huge amount of data with BitComet, but this does not describe OP's problem.

Since our service does not require a login, you might find the connection [from your router] to automatically start working once it’s [connected to the nbn device]. The cable from the nbn™ device should be plugged into the Wan or Internet port on the router.
