ALDI Oven and Cooktop, Thoughts? Installation Costs?

Got the catalogue with next Saturday's (27th) specials and saw the oven, cook top and range hood deal.
I've been half looking for a new oven given mine seems to insist on either burning things or not cooking them, and the stove top couldn't hurt to be replaced at the same time.

just wondering if anyone has more info on manufacturere or might have previously bought these or similar form Aldi.

also wondering if anyone has advice on installation costs and/or suggestion for someone in the Hornsby area who might be able to quote.

    A few years back I bought a combo of an electric oven and an electric cooktop from Bunnings in one package. I recall at the time that you could get Bunnings to arrange installation and they would tell you the price. They may still have this. Beware that this may be a seriously big package. I couldn't fit it in the car so I separated the contents out in the car park to get it home.

    The cooktop is the same size as all other modern ones. You can intall it yourself: Switch off electricity; use a knife to remove the silicone from the current cooktop (you need a sharp think knife); remove old cooktop after removing electricity cable; install electricity cable in new cooktop (read the supplied instructions about which is active/earth/neutral; you will need a screedriver); reverse the process to install. Out new cooktop down and see it works; silicone new cooktop in.

    I have the Aldi induction cooktop from 2 years ago. Its unbranded. Make sure you wipe down and keep clean after use.
