[PS4, XB1, Switch] Big Bash Boom - $29 C&C + Delivery @ EB Games

90

Not the best cricket game out there and definitely not when it was $89 at launch. EB Games look to be clearing this out (plenty of stock). Took a punt at $29. Cheaper for pre-own @ $26.

Note that the Switch version is just a download code in a case! Apparently also the Switch version has been patched as it was unplayable at launch.

Can combine with the buy 2 and get 1 free offer.

  • Thanks OP, was getting tired playing Ashes. This will keep me busy till new Ashes comes out.

  • Hmm,might need to try a cricket game on the switch…

  • Don’t buy this on the Switch, I bought it when it came out and full price and the game lags soo much and isn’t worth the money at all. If you compare this to the Ashes Game, this is so fake in comparison.

@Legend279 - oh no! is this even after the patch was released?

  • Big Ant has also confirmed the next cricket sim will be released on the Nintendo Switch and while I don't have high hopes (based on the effort of big bash boom) I really do hope it is fully functioning because cricket on the go would be awesome.

  • Switch version is a download code. Game plays okay got boring fast

How do they sell pre owned if it's a dload code?

    • Got it, switch only is code

The switch version is only available new. Due to it being a download code, this is similar to most modern PC games.

Not a bad game, but I got bored pretty quick. But then, I don't give a single toss about cricket or really any other sport. I would love a good AFL game though, the mid 2000s games on PS2 were sick.

Anyway. Decent enough game, for 30 bucks yeah, it's pretty fun. And as sss333 pointed out, you will get 4.50 back in gold coins if buying on Nintendo. Whenever people say "why does EB even sell games as a download code" sales like this, and rebates like that are why I buy them from there rather than pay 90 for the same thing directly on the eShop.
