What's The Best Credit Card for about 10K in Business Purchases Every Month? $40 Award!

Now I wish there was a way to reward the person doing the sleuthing, I'd be happy to pay upto a max of 40 $ about an hours worth of effort for the right bargain finder. Happy to pay by paypal or payid after the winner is chosen.
I could pay most of these by Amex or Mastercard.

Here are my requirements.
- I make about 10 to 15K in software purchases every month. Monthly subscription costs. About 3K of this is in USD.
- These are minimum expenses. Actual can go up to about 20 K in certain months.

Benefits & Requirements:
*Looking for a card that will charge me fairly on exchange rate and provide the maximum benefit back.
*Benefit should ideally be in the form of cash or cash cards, or something quickly and easily exchangeable to cash. I don't do business class flights, so if the benefits are QFF then it'd need to be exchanged to cash.
*Currently on CBA Platinum card, which gives points and then can exchange to card, so ideally it needs to be better than this.
*Other than that need online banking and proper fraud protection, electronic feeds for accounting statements and monthly statements.

I think you should focus on Cards with No Overseas Transaction Fees, rather than "benefits".

On $3k US purchases you would save $90.

Since CBA ditched AMEX (with its no Overseas Transaction Fee) you are looking for an alternative. I simply have CBA Platinum for Australian purchases and now use Citibank Plus for overseas transactions.

There is very little on offer with actual business credit cards.

  • For all the cards I looked at, redemption of points for cash/giftcards/products is the lowest/worst redemption possible. I used to be on westpac black MC/amex which was OK for accumulating krisflyer and asiamiles points, have now switched to ANZ FF black for QFF points which works well with live eftpos black. Was offered amex platinum charge card but without the signup bonus because I (was) an existing amex cardholder, so nope to that one.

Recommend you have a look at pointshack or champagne mile, but they're more focussed on accumulating FF points for travel not cash.

  • Macquarie if you can apply for one

I recently went through this myself, Bankwest More Mastercard worked out best for me although on a higher monthly spend than 10k. Decent points vs value and no points cap but more importantly it has no international transaction fees which was the real saver.

    • Thanks, this is interesting. will explore

Citibank Diners Club card has fee free overseas purchases. Nothing will match saving 3.5% on those USD payments. I believe you can run Diners Club through PayPal for wider acceptance.

  • get https://www.westpac.com.au/business-banking/credit-cards/rew… 100k points on offer or one of there business altudide cards which also have bonus 60-80k and waive annual fee for first year. also amex business explorer are offering 100k. for overseas use diners or anz adventures etc
