    Who?

  • +7

7% except for Mobile phone 2.4%, Eletronics (SIC) 2.4%, Hot Products 2.4%?

Both Shopback and Cashrewards have a $50 cap. No cap for GoCashBack?

    EDIT:

-Special Category may has no Cash Back

    What does that mean?

    • +2

Special Category is a unique product that sellers use to get customers to pay more for shipping, unique order, customisation etc. AliExpress pay out 0% according to their rates that also explains the 2.4% on other categories. CR/SB just accept those categories as a loss 😉

  • I don't believe this qualifies as a deal.

    6% @ TCB
    4% @ CR
    5% @ SB

So yay 1% more than the competition, for your first deal…?

Also good to note that AliExpress charges 10% GST even from domestic sellers, I have spent quite a lot of time (and headaches) talking to various reps and this is what their management intends, pretty sure they're just pocketing it as extra profit.

    • This isn't very clear. When you say domestic, do you mean Australian based sellers?
If so, why would they be exempt from GST. If you mean China based, then GST now applies.

      • Yes, both Australian-based sellers and China sellers shipping from local Australian warehouses get this charge tacked on. Sellers themselves have attempted to talk to AE to no avail. By Law they are exempt from GST, but if AE just ignores it and charge it anyway, what can anyone do?

        • I see no reason that Australian sellers would be exempt from GST. How are they any different from someone selling from an Australian base website or retail store. GST would apply.

If you are referring to export sales from Australian based sellers, selling through the Aliexpress platform, then that is a very different matter.

          • @whats up skip: Oh I'm sorry, I meant the import tax, technically different from the GST but I got used to saying it wrongly since they're the same amount.

Exactly what we needed! Another cashback site lol

    • one too many already…

      • +4

So you're both saying that you prefer cashback sites to not compete and therefore OzBargainers end up with better deals?

    • +3

Why the hate? More competition, the better for us.

Do 20-25% if you want to make a splash. With Shopback and Cashrewards already established, another player would have to be significant

  • What 5USD?? Isn’t it 3USD?

  • I made a $160+ purchase on AliExpress yesterday and only got ~$6 cash back (less than 4%). Emailed support but no response yet…

    • Hi el_cheapo,

      Sorry about that.

Never use this, they never give you the cashback

2.5 months and still 20 cashbacks pending

    joke

    • Hi FireSword,
Do you mind sharing more details regarding the pending cashback? Did you try to withdraw?
Please message me or you could use our support email and we can look into it for you: [email protected]
      Thank you!

      • I sent email to support, I didnt know this email before. All Cashback is pending

        • Hi FireSword, I have responded to your email. The reason why cashback status is pending is because you will need to have accumulated $20 USD worth of purchase for you to be able to withdraw cash. 'Pending' simply means the threshold hasn't been met. Thank you!
