I've just started using my Nokia 3. Yesterday in the middle of a restaurant it just started screeching a loud electric / static noise for no reason. You cant turn it down or off. After a few seconds it stopped by itself. Did it again later on when I was plugging it in.
Anyone else got this? Got no joy from Google (only shows the NFC alert tone, and it's definitely not that, it's pure screeching).

If it is still in warranty, then utilise that
It only happens twice a day. Not sure how to prove it/ replicate it.
Can make video with another phone. Also they may ask you to do the other usual things like factory reset etc before they consider taking it

Idk, it's not happening to my Nokia 3.
It's a new phone. Only installed Oreo update,then wiped it. So it is fresh.
Didn't happen for a few days. Happened today in a quiet cafe!
Noticed it happens when multiple open wifi options are available.
My Nokia 7 Plus was making a similar awful, shrill screeching noise, but it would only happen out of one speaker and only when my mother in law calls.
