On the rack it says $2 but when checked out it becomes $1. Not sure which one is a mistake but I went straight back and bought 2 more…
There are plenty in stock. A bit on the smaller side though.

For comparison, $2.49ea@Aldi and $2.70ea@Coles(in the same Westfield).

  Segway to this….Avacados, in general, use 5 times as much water to produce 1kg of tomatoes versus a 1kg of avocado. In some parts of the world where it’s grown, it’s know to be the single culprit to taking up valuable water quotas and creating deserts. This is why I personally boycott all avacados. (And yes, I am sure there are heaps of other crops and businesses that are draining away water.)

    Bit of an unfair comparison when the nutrition from each is so different. Avocados are about 8 times as calorie dense as a tomato.

    Im sure tomatoes take up more resources than grass.. maybe try eating grass?

  They have corrected it, Hass is 2.5 now.
