Grand Wash Auto in Thornbury are offering $10 regular washes on Weekday mornings between 8am and 10am for the rest of May. This is an automated car wash, but it’s a step up from your normal automated wash places, and also includes unlimited vacuum use after your wash. The regular wash is normally $14, a 28.5% discount.

Haha on a serious note, how it differs is that they have actual people manning the entrance that spray on some bug spray and blast difficult spots with a power washer. Also you they let you use their chamois cloths to dry off your car / clean the interior, and the vacuums are free as well to use.
All in all a very pleasant experience and a step up from the "normal" machine washes. :P
If you value your car paint don't even go into a car wash machine. My car has scratches on the roof, rear spoiler and even rear number plates from previous owner and 99% it was from a car wash machine because there is NO WAY you could even get long and deep scratches on the roof with any kind of hand wash.
If you just want a quick wash and don't care about the paint (fleet, rental, truck, work car etc.) then go for it. I'm sure the service of the place is great, just can't trust the machine.
